In a short answer: No
In most cases, it barely affects the transaction fee.

Cryptocurrencies could be briefly categorized into two models: Account-based & UTXO-based.

1. Account-Based Model Cryptocurrencies (Most Cryptocurrencies):
These cryptocurrencies do not use UTXO-model. The transaction amount will not affect the fee.

  • Cronos
  • BNB Chain (BSC)
  • Tron (TRC-20)
  • Polkadot
  • Cosmos and more!

2. UTXO-Based Model Cryptocurrencies
Transaction fees of these cryptocurrencies depend on the number of UTXO sources involved with the transaction. The more UTXO sources involved, the miners need to check more areas to confirm the transaction. Thus, collecting a higher fee. For more details about UTXO, please refer to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unspent_transaction_output.
