WalletConnect is an open protocol for connecting desktop DAPPs to mobile/hardware Wallets using end-to-end encryption by scanning a QR code.
This opens up a whole world of Dapps that were once only available to MetaMask. Users can now interact with any Dapps without compromising their private keys and will be notified to sign any transaction requests on their mobile.
In simple terms, if you use CoolWallet with the WalletConnect platforms, you can conduct transactions on our supported WalletConnect platforms without sending all of your funds to the platform prior to your transactions. This greatly reduced the risk of private-key theft in a transaction.
