CoolWallet uses military-grade AES256 encrypted Bluetooth to communicate with our CoolWallet App. The CoolWallet and your phone will only connect if it is turned on within 10m radius, and requires a secure pairing passcode to communicate.

Therefore, any unauthorized device will be blocked from communicating with the CoolWallet. Most importantly, the CoolWallet’s Secure Element is a critical security chip that comes with the highest industry certification (CoolWallet S CCEAL5+/CoolWallet Pro EAL6+) which protects and conceals your private key at all times, making sure that even if your Bluetooth connection is somehow compromised, your private data will never be revealed.

This Secure chip does the digital signing and delivers only the result of the calculation (non-sensitive data) out to the phone via Bluetooth.
